Amy Stewart was raised in 108 Mile House until moving to the big city
of Vernon at the age of 9. After leaving home Amy left to Vancouver and
enrolled in counseling and psychology courses to pursue a career in counselling,
then moving to Edmonton deciding on a career in Child and Youth care.
During that time she moved to the Netherlands to do an exchange program
in Art and Play Therapy. After working with high risk youth and kids with
special needs, she returned to the Arts. Her love of knitting and design
turned into her own business in September 2007 as Olie Designs.
